These dishes are beautiful. That is all they are good for.They came with slight imperfections in the finish.I didn't think much about it until about three weeks after I got them and had been using them.There were small cracks around the bowls and the mugs.We really noticed because coffee stained the cracks in the mugs and spagetti sauce stained the cracks in the bowls.My husband was afraid lead was in the finish and it might seep out.I sent them back yesterday. I still had the original boxes, but had lost the packing material in one.It cost me 30 bucks to have them repacked to send them back to Amazon.I am out of my beautiful dishes, plus 30 bucks to repack defective dishes to Amazon.At least I didn't have to pay for shipping......yet.We will see if I get billed for that too on my CC.I am very sad and disappointed. The dishes are lovely to look at, just don't plan on using them.They are made in China.Product Description
