I don't write reviews often, however I feel compelled to since the reviews here don't represent the good experience we've had with our Sango Nova Black dishes.We've had these dishes for a year and a half already, and we've only broken 2 pieces, one from being dropped on the bathroom floor and the other from being used as a cutting board for hard cheese(it broke cleanly in half and so we actually were able to glue it back together).We seldom eat out and these are our only dishes, so they have gotten A LOT of use, and have had many, many trips through the dishwasher (we don't use "heated dry" though).There are some scratches on the plate surfaces, but these aren't even noticeable unless you hold the plates up to the light and look closely.These dishes have been moved across town, banged around in the kitchen but have never chipped.The small plates have even been used as a cover for our coverless saucepan when we cook rice.We also own the Hostess Set, Completer Set and the over-sized soup mugs, and we plan on buying the cannister set as well.Good price, great matching pieces and timeless style.Would recommend to anyone.Product Description
