I have 16 settings with add'l serving platters, serving bowls, salt & pepper, sugar bowl and creamer.The separately listed soup bowls are the same item included in the 16 piece set.Items were well-packed and all arrived unbroken.Do not expect a perfect finish.It is not fine china.About half of the items have minor blemishes, but they are not readily noticable unless you look for them.This may add to the rustic character of the dinnerware for some.The design is subdued and matches our dark teakwood dining table.The dishes hold up well to everyday use; none broken or chipped with accidental bumping against other dishes or hard surfaces.Only drawback has been that water spots and fingerprints are very visible on the flat finish of the blue colored border.Click Here to see more reviews about: Joseph Abboud Mahogany Circles 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4
