This is beautiful, heavy earthenware, and really chip resistant. Great for everyday use. Lead free glaze means you can use it in the oven and microwave (to 480-degrees). It's much prettier than the pictures. I bought the individual sets (4-piece dinner plates, salad plates, etc.) because Amazon had a better deal buying them that way than the complete set. I was able to get a service for 12 for just over $100. Now the prices are back up but keep watching because they change every day. They were packed really well, not one broken piece. If the other reviews I've read about Caleca dinnerware are true, this set will last for years to come.Product Description
