I had been familiar with the Corelle line of dishes, and they are quite nice for use in an everyday setting. I had chosen these expecting the drawings on them were black, but they are indeed grey, and somewhat faint... However, I had read a review for another pattern of Corelle dinnerware, which mentioned the difference in color from the website to what you actually get. All in all, they're very nice, and will work wonderfully in our kitchen. Also, I ought to mention something I had been curious about before getting mine, and that is the crackle look around the edges. They look like antique china, how it crackles like that.
