This is a great serving bowl.Its scalloped egde provides a different look than you see in virtually all other serving bowls out there.The bowl is big enough to hold a large green, pasta, or other salad.And, the bright colors are a nice addition to any summertime table setting.We were exceedingly happy to find we could buy this via Amazon.com, because our first bowl like thi one suffered a dredful demise when it suffered death after a "short drop and a sudden stop" (to quote a line from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean').
