I had never heard of Wilton Armetale dinnerware before getting this set for our wedding. Even though my wife picked it out, I think I am the bigger fan. It is simply stunning. AND it is even more useful than it is a pleasure to look at. The set could easily be on display in the Smithsoian as an 1800s or 1700s example of dinnerware. That is how classic it looks.But it works even better. The panthlet that comes with it says something very important. These products are made for everyday use no matter how good they look. They can take it. And they can take it. Because of the metal properties the bowl is perfect for serving. Stick it in the freezer or fridge before serving a salad or cold dish and it will keep it cool.
Run hot water over it and it will keep warm dishes warm. The serving spoon and fork are as detailed and elegant as the bowl. Hopefully if you got to this review you will take a chance on this or another Wilton Armetale product. They are stunning and will become treasured heirlooms for generations. AND they are reasonably priced and will seem a bargin once you get it. And unlike China which breaks sometime they will actually be around for generations. Once you get something in this line you will brag to all your friends how awesome it is and they will be next in line. Great stuff, without a doubt.
