I fell for it's contemporary look and risked buying a 20-piece set witout seeing it outside. I was skeptical about my purchase until I received. I took this risk with the confidence that iittala makes very high quality products.My trust on iittala brand turned out true. These are great piece of flatware which can't be matched by anything we see in most local department stores. We immediately returned the Villeroy and Boch New Wave Flatware set we got from Bloomingdales as it pales (in a very big way) in comparison to this. Frankly, these two shouldn't even be compared. That's how good the build quality is of this set. The stainless steel has some special kind of shine that makes it look very attractive and at the same time very unique. These pieces are very heavy and feel very good in hand.
We liked them so much that we are now looking into adding more of iittala brand items to our kitchen and home decor.
