It's a beautiful pattern.I loved the size of the tea cups.78 dollars for a set of gold banded china sounded too good to be true.Well it kinda was.There are a few flaws here and there... gold incomplete in a spot or two, odd dark mark in a couple of places.. The bottoms are rough enough that I'll probably store them with cloth in between.BUT I'm still happy with the purchase.I pretty much wanted an "everyday" china and this still fits the bill.
