This is a really nice lightweight stoneware piece. The description says it is "Solid Tan color with contrasting matte and gloss glaze." Fortunately it is all matte on the outside, which I wanted. However, for a perfect sugar bowl it lacks an indentation in the lid for a spoon, so the lid is wiggling on the sugar spoon, giving a wider opening for the moisture to get in.Product Description
