I love this dinnerware.The salad plates are large enuf to use as luncheon plates.I also have the dinner plates, cereal bowls, regular mugs and the caffe latte mugs, some serving dishes and a few other odds & ends.I'm not sure why they are not recommended for use in the microwave.I've used almost all items in the microwave at some point or other - without any mishap.Product Description
