Nice looking from a distance.Up close, flaws in the finish are noticeable.There are places were the gray lines show small "bubbles" and there is one small spot were the base ceramic is showing.I don't know if this is typical of this line or not.The plates, cups, etc. are substantial - they are heavy duty and clean up well in the dishwasher.I have had compliments on the appearance of the dishes.
Regardless of the detail appearance, I am considering purchasing another set.
